During day one of our three day class, driver's learn how an on board fire suppression system operates and how to craft and execute an emergency exit plan.
Twelve year driver Carter Whalen Racing was willing to illustrate his emergency exit strategy at about half speed for us in the first video.
Carter successfully completed his situational awareness training for use of on board fire suppression system by being completely clear of his car in less than 16 seconds three consecutive attempts.
Best of luck to Carter Whalen this week as he competes in the Usac25 @Battle at the Brickyard.

Great job!!!
Race recap for Sarah Beth Sullivan from Mobile International Speedway .
Multiple rain delays made for a long day and no practice or qualifying. Sarah started outside row 3 based on a draw for starting position.
We are very proud of Sarah as she made her first outside row start.
This young driver continues to make gains as she successfully completes more and more first time challenges.
Sarah also made a great pass of two cars in one corner on her way to a 9th place finish.
Later in the race, Sarah made contact with another competitor, but learned from the incident.
Shortly after debriefing, Sarah wanted to go apologize to the other driver. This made us very proud and the other driver was impressed she made the walk.
Sarah and her Proactive Motorsports team mate Seth Christensen Racing will be back in action at Mobile International Speedway July 16.
We would like to thank Gina and the entire staff of MIS for getting the races in last night.
