NEW Jr. Late Model Series to Launch in 2021

Cordele GA September 15, 2020:  A new racing series designed to lower the cost for young racecar drivers entering into the world of Late Models will launch in the fall of 2021. The Jr Late Model Spectacular Series was created to address the ever-growing need for a truly affordable driver development program. Our goal is to provide a series that will allow drivers from the ages of 12 to 16 to drive full-bodied race cars that are “Spec” cars. The series will host an eight race “Summer Series” as well as a four-race “Winter Series” competing at five different tracks throughout the midwest and southeast. The series currently has support from multiple vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers that have agreed to give JLMSS Members significant discounts when parts and supplies are purchased through the Series Marketplace.

The program is also designed to develop the driver’s off-track talent as well. Drivers and their parents will be required to attend bi-monthly webinars designed to teach the drivers the importance of building a brand to attract corporate marketing partners.

The series is by invitation only and you must be currently competing in some form of Mini Cup, Bandolero, Legend, Micro Sprint, or .25 Midget Series and be under the age of seventeen.  To apply for consideration visit JLMSS.com/registration.

The Series will also offer an optional four-week iRacing Series that will include weekly simulator training from RaceCraft1. We believe that every young driver should have an understanding of how simulation training can benefit their on-track performance both from a driving and communication skill set.
